Law360, New York (October 11, 2010, 6:43 PM ET) -- Electronics retailer Best Buy Co. Inc. has become the latest plaintiff to launch an antitrust suit against AU Optronics Corp., Hitachi Ltd. and other liquid crystal display screen makers over their alleged price-fixing.
A Best Buy spokeswoman said Monday that it brought the suit, which was filed last week in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, because doing so was the best way to protect the interests of the company and its shareholders.
