Money Manager Starr's Sentencing For Fraud Delayed

Law360, New York (December 01, 2010, 2:05 PM ET) -- A federal judge has postponed Kenneth Ira Starr's sentencing to give prosecutors more time to resolve disputes over the restitution that the money manager owes, following his admission that he swindled clients and gave misleading investment information.

Judge Shira A. Scheindlin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Tuesday postponed sentencing until February 2, granting a request that the federal government made with the consent of Starr's lawyers.
