Ky. Judge Nixes Nationwide Class In Ford Engine Suit

Law360, New York (January 05, 2011, 8:34 PM ET) -- A group of consumers has lost its class certification bid in a suit alleging Ford Motor Co. installed older engines known for defects in vehicles, with a judge saying Kentucky consumer protection laws don't cover purchases made outside the state.
