BofA To Shed Office Space In NY, NC

Law360, New York (February 01, 2012, 5:39 PM ET) -- Bank of America Corp. is planning to sell and then lease back some office space in three buildings it owns in New York and Charlotte, N.C., as part of a companywide streamlining campaign launched last year, the bank announced Wednesday.

The sell-off targets what the company has deemed “noncore assets,” according to BofA spokeswoman Kelli Raulerson. The sales will not affect any of the bank's employees or operations, nor any of its other holdings in Charlotte or New York, Raulerson told Law360 on Wednesday.
