Law360, New York (May 14, 2012, 7:32 PM ET) -- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission said Monday it would toughen oversight of two nuclear power plants with safety violations, including a Dominion Resources Inc. plant in Virginia that partially shut down after a mild earthquake hit the East Coast last summer.
The NRC said it would scrutinize Dominion’s North Anna Power Station in Lake Anna, Va., and Florida Light & Power Co.’s St. Lucie Plant in Jensen Beach, Fla., due to maintenance and performance problems that brought NRC action last year.
