Law360, New York (May 16, 2012, 8:15 PM ET) -- A South Carolina federal judge on Friday ended a musician's copyright infringement suit against boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and World Wrestling Entertainment Inc., saying the artist could not prove he was damaged by the unlicensed use of his song.
U.S. District Judge Joseph F. Anderson Jr. dismissed the suit brought by Anthony Lawrence Dash, ruling that he could not prove that Mayweather and the WWE profited directly by playing parts of his instrumental "Tony Gunz Beat" without permission at professional wrestling pay-per-view event WrestleMania 24....
