Georgia Medical System Hit With $200M Suit Over Data Theft

Law360, New York (June 08, 2012, 7:09 PM ET) -- A putative class of former patients have sued Emory Healthcare Inc. in Georgia state court, seeking up to $200 million in damages after more than 300,000 patient files were stolen as the alleged result of the Atlanta hospital system’s negligence.
