Auto Coating Co. Sues Ex-Sales Rep. For Poaching Clients

Law360, New York (June 12, 2012, 7:05 PM ET) -- A Chicago auto coating manufacturer filed suit against a former company sales representative Friday in Georgia federal court, claiming the onetime employee had violated a nonsolicitation agreement when he tried to poach customers upon joining a competitor.

Akzo Nobel Coatings Inc. alleges that Alan Babe began soliciting Akzo’s customers shortly after he left the company and joined its rival Single Source Inc. in September.
