DOJ Abandons Case Against John Edwards

Law360, New York (June 13, 2012, 5:37 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Justice on Wednesday walked away from its controversial criminal prosecution of John Edwards, a move that was widely expected after the government failed to convict the two-time presidential candidate of using nearly $1 million to conceal an extramarital affair.
