Greenberg Seeks $24M From Partners In Capital Call

Law360, New York (August 07, 2012, 10:39 PM ET) -- Greenberg Traurig LLP confirmed on Tuesday that it is raising capital from partners for the first time in more than 10 years, asking for “a modest amount” from its shareholders that news reports pegged at $24 million.

Greenberg CEO Richard Rosenbaum said in a statement that the law firm indeed had issued a capital call to its equity partners, but downplayed the significance of the move, denying that the firm was in any particular need of liquidity.
