FERPA Doesn't Cover UNC Docs On Players' Perks, Judge Says

Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 7:20 PM ET) -- A North Carolina judge ruled Thursday that the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act does not shield the University of North Carolina from having to turn over to the media records detailing personal perks received by its football players that led to league sanctions.
