Law360, New York (March 07, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Despite massive opposition from attorneys general, federal lawmakers and environmental groups, the U.S. Department of Energy is pushing ahead with plans to create two electric transmission corridors in the mid-Atlantic and Southwest regions of the country.
The DOE announced on Thursday that it had denied requests to rehear its decision to designate the Mid-Atlantic Area and the Southwest Area National Interest Electric Transmission Corridors.
