Law360, New York (March 20, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The Mississippi Bar is seeking to have the law licenses of infamous plaintiffs attorney Richard “Dickie” Scruggs and his firm partner revoked in the wake of their admissions that they conspired to bribe a state circuit court judge.
On Tuesday, the state bar filed a petition with the Mississippi Supreme Court to ban Scruggs and Sidney Backstrom from practicing law in light of their recent felony convictions.
