Foreign Plaintiffs Sent Packing In Ford Case

Law360, New York (August 22, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit has rebuffed an attempt by a group of foreign plaintiffs to reinstate the group’s product liability case against Ford Motor Co., confirming that a Florida court is not the proper venue for the rollover suits to unfold.

On Wednesday, the 11th Circuit knocked down the appeal brought by Cecilia Maria Coello Massuh and a host of others who had objected to their claims being tossed on forum non conveniens grounds.
