Law360, New York (May 07, 2012, 3:17 PM ET) -- Motorola Solutions Inc. and reseller System ID Warehouse are selling personal data assistants and barcode scanners that violate patented technology held by Mobile Scanning Technologies LLC, according to a complaint filed Friday in Texas federal court.
Mobile Scanning Technologies claims that several lines of Motorola products, including its ruggedized "enterprise digital assistants," mobile computers and barcode scanners feature laser-pointing and scanning components that infringe U.S. Patent No. 6,065,880, titled "Laser Enhanced Personal Data Assistant."
