Law360, New York (September 10, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Pioneer Corp. is attempting to fend off Samsung SDI Co. Ltd.'s infringement claims regarding plasma display panels, saying that Samsung hid and twisted information to receive patent approval.
Pioneer and its affiliates responded to Samsung's first amended counterclaims on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, claiming that two of Samsung's asserted patents are unenforceable due to inequitable conduct with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
