Ariba Shareholders Sign Off On SAP's $4.3B Takeover

Law360, New York (August 29, 2012, 8:21 PM ET) -- Ariba Inc. said Wednesday that its shareholders have approved the proposed takeover of the cloud computing company by health industry business management services provider SAG AG for $4.3 billion, clearing one more hurdle for the completion of the deal.

Ariba's shareholders approved the deal at a meeting Wednesday, according to the company. The two companies said they are still waiting for approval by the U.S. Department of Justice, which earlier this year asked for additional information about the deal.
