Law360, New York (December 21, 2012, 3:45 PM ET) -- Japanese electronics giant Panasonic Corp. has agreed to sell its Sanyo digital camera and digital movie camera business to an affiliate of Japanese private equity firm Advantage Partners LLP, Panasonic announced Friday.
Advantage will acquire the business from Panasonic subsidiary Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd. Sanyo split off its digital and digital movie camera operations in July, creating Sanyo DI Solutions Co. Ltd. in order to strengthen the overall Sanyo business, Panasonic said Friday.
