Law360, New York (December 01, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Adding to a list of trademark and copyright infringement claims against computer manufacturer Psystar Ltd., Apple has alleged that Psystar also violated anti-piracy provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act in selling an unauthorized version of Apple’s Mac OS X software.
On Wednesday, Apple asked a judge in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to allow the computer giant to amend its complaint to include the piracy claim as well as add potential new defendants to the suit.
