Law360, New York (June 05, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Hewlett-Packard Co. unit Electronic Data Systems Corp. has reached a settlement with MetroPCS Communications Inc., one of a number of cell phone companies EDS sued for allegedly infringing a pair of patents that cover prepaid phone service.
EDS and MetroPCS moved to dismiss all claims between them with prejudice pursuant to a settlement and patent license option agreement on Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
