Law360, New York (April 15, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A number of unsecured creditors have asked a court to force bankrupt Lyondell Chemical Co. to turn over information about its insurance policies in an attempt to proceed with pending product liability lawsuits.
In a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, unsecured claimants said the policies may cover damages they seek in lawsuits alleging they sustained personal injuries as a result of exposure to products made by Lyondell and its predecessor corporation, Arco Chemical Corp.
