Law360, New York (September 14, 2011, 9:26 PM ET) -- Defunct SAP AG software unit TomorrowNow Inc. was fined $20 million Wednesday after pleading guilty to criminal charges stemming from illegal downloads of Oracle Corp. proprietary information that led to a $1.3 billion jury verdict for Oracle in November.
TomorrowNow pled guilty in California federal court to 11 counts of unauthorized access to a protected computer with intent to defraud and obtain something of value and one count of criminal infringement of a copyright. The plea agreement was filed under seal last week.
