Law360, New York (March 02, 2012, 10:43 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission will re-examine an initial ruling that found that Motorola Mobility Inc.'s Android-based mobile devices infringed one Microsoft Corp. smartphone patent, but not six others, the court said Friday.
The court said it would review a decision issued in December by Administrative Law Judge Theodore Essex, who found that Motorola’s sale and importation into the U.S. of its mobile devices infringed Microsoft’s U.S. Patent Number 6,370,566, in violation of Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930.
