Execs Urge Congress To Tie Keystone To Transport Bill

Law360, New York (May 07, 2012, 7:17 PM ET) -- A group of business executives called on lawmakers Monday to include a measure expediting approval of TransCanada Corp.'s Keystone XL pipeline in a final transportation funding bill under negotiation this week, saying it would benefit the U.S. economy.

The Business Roundtable, a conservative group of some of the country's top CEOs, sent a letter to Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., and Rep. John Mica, R-Fla., arguing approval of the controversial project would create tens of thousands of jobs and bolster domestic energy security.
