Gupta Lawyer Grills Criminal-Turned-Cooperator In Court

Law360, New York (May 29, 2012, 8:27 PM ET) -- The defense team representing former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. director Rajat Gupta in his insider trading trial attacked a key prosecution witness Tuesday, forcing him to admit to his own criminal past.

Gupta lawyer Gary Naftalis, of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, questioned Michael Cardillo about his involvement in a scheme of insider trading and self-dealing in an apparent attempt to discredit the government cooperator.
