Law360, New York (July 05, 2012, 10:28 PM ET) -- A Florida federal judge on Thursday delivered a victory to General Electric Co., finding the company did not infringe a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. patent for wind turbine technology.
U.S. District Judge John Antoon II granted a motion for summary judgment of noninfringement and invalidity, finding GE had not infringed Mitsubishi's U.S. Patent Number 7,452,185 through the control systems in its wind turbines and that the invalidity claim had been rendered moot.
