Law360, New York (July 20, 2012, 12:50 PM ET) -- Mayer Brown LLP sued former client Pacific Seafood Group in Washington on Wednesday, claiming the seafood processor owes it more than $5 million in unpaid legal fees the firm earned while defending the company in an antitrust suit.
In a complaint filed in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, Mayer Brown claims Pacific and its parent company Dulcich Inc. effectively stopped paying for legal services, forcing the firm to eventually withdraw as the company’s counsel and seek payment.
