2nd Circ. Lets GE, Nat'l Grid Off Hook For PCBs At NY Site

Law360, New York (August 02, 2012, 6:07 PM ET) -- The Second Circuit on Thursday held that a commercial real estate owner in Fort Edward, N.Y., cannot hold General Electric Co., National Grid and others responsible for costs of investigating and cleaning a site containing toxic chemicals once widely used in the transmission of electricity.
