Calif. Court Says Insureds Can Stack Policies For Max Coverage

Law360, New York (August 09, 2012, 10:04 PM ET) -- The California Supreme Court handed a huge victory to policyholders Thursday by ruling in California's closely watched pollution coverage fight that insureds facing long-term property damage and personal injury claims can force a carrier to cover damage occurring outside its policy period and "stack" coverage limits from policies spanning multiple years to maximize recovery.
