Wash. Ruling May Expand Liability For Asbestos Injuries

Law360, New York (August 13, 2012, 9:15 PM ET) -- Washington's highest state court ruled Thursday that makers of respirators designed to prevent asbestos exposure can be held liable for failing to warn of the contaminant's risks, a decision that opens up safety product manufacturers to more lawsuits over asbestos-related injuries, experts say.
