White House Vetoes ITC Ban On Apple IPhones, IPads

Law360, New York (August 04, 2013, 3:16 PM ET) -- The Obama administration on Saturday overturned a U.S. International Trade Commission order barring some imports of Apple Inc.'s iPhone and iPad found to infringe a standard-essential Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. patent, finding that import bans based on such patents can give companies "undue leverage."
