Law360, New York (May 09, 2012, 4:18 PM ET) -- A former Netgear Inc. engineer was found guilty in California federal court of stealing trade secrets from Marvell Semiconductor Inc. after being hired by the company’s main competitor, federal prosecutors said Wednesday.
U.S. District Judge Ronald M. Whyte found Suibin Zhang, 43, guilty of three counts of theft and copying trade secrets for downloading trade secrets from a secure database, one count of duplication of trade secrets for loading them onto a laptop, and one count of possession of stolen trade secrets.
