Endo Cert Bid Calls AGs' Use Of Private Attys Unconstitutional

Law360, Washington (November 9, 2017, 10:50 PM EST) -- Drugmaker Endo Pharmaceuticals has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to bar states from using outside “contingency-fee” lawyers to investigate and litigate allegations of fraudulent marketing practices by makers of opioid painkillers, saying state governments’ reliance on outside, profit-motivated counsel violates its due process rights.
