Male Equity Partners Earn Almost 30% More Than Women

Law360 (April 19, 2018, 3:12 PM EDT) -- Male equity partners on average are paid almost 30 percent more than their female counterparts, research firm Acritas said Thursday after questioning more than 800 attorneys for its latest global survey.

The firm said that among 828 so-called Acritas Stars — standout attorneys nominated by senior in-house counsel — male equity partners earned a mean average of 27 percent more than female equity partners. When looking at the median average pay, however, the firm said that number shrank to a 19 percent difference in pay....
