Arctic Glacier To Pay $9M In Ice Conspiracy Deal

Law360, New York (October 14, 2009, 1:01 PM EDT) -- Arctic Glacier International Inc. has agreed to a guilty plea on one count of criminal conspiracy to restrain trade and to a $9 million fine for its part in a long-running customer allocation scheme in the packaged ice industry in Detroit and southeastern Michigan.

The plea agreement, which is subject to court approval, was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio on Tuesday. A criminal information against Arctic Glacier was filed under seal on Sept. 10.
