Judge Flushes Uponor Faulty Plumbing Action

Law360, New York (January 28, 2010, 1:38 PM EST) -- A federal judge has thrown out a putative class action brought by homeowners against Uponor Inc. over allegedly defective plumbing system components, closing the door on the plaintiffs' hopes to refile the suit in the future.

Judge Robert C. Jones of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada issued the order Tuesday, noting that the plaintiffs had voluntarily withdrawn from the suit after 18 months of litigation and dismissing their case with prejudice.
