Merck Accused Of Denying Overtime

Law360, New York (January 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A former Merck & Co. sales representative has hit the pharmaceutical giant with a collective action lawsuit accusing the company of illegally denying overtime benefits to certain employees.

On Thursday, plaintiff Robert Schedel filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey charging Merck with violating the Fair Labor Standards Act.
