Fed. Circ. Revives Medical Software Patent — For Now

Law360 (August 10, 2010, 2:57 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has ordered a lower court to take another look at whether Golden Hour Data Systems Inc.'s patent covering software used in emergency medical services is unenforceable due to inequitable conduct.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Monday vacated a district courts ruling on inequitable conduct, but upheld the lower court's finding of no joint infringement of Golden Hour's patent by emsCharts Inc. and Softtech LLC.
