Nat'l Union Entitled To $3M Fees In Valero Defense: 5th Circ.

Law360, New York (May 31, 2012, 9:03 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit said Wednesday that National Union Fire Insurance Co. is entitled to recover $3 million it spent defending Encompass Power Services in a dispute over a 2002 fire at Valero Refining Co., despite claims from three primary insurers that the excess insurer had no right to reimbursement.
