Village Voice, Yelp Resolve 'Best of' Trademark Suit

Law360, New York (November 8, 2012, 3:22 PM EST) -- Village Voice Media Holdings LLC ended a trademark suit against Yelp Inc. in Arizona federal court Wednesday, resolving a case in which Village Voice Media accused the review website of infringing service marks associated with the newspaper publisher's “Best of” lists.  

Village Voice Media filed a notice of dismissal in the case — which it initially filed Oct. 25 — saying both sides would bear their own attorneys' fees and costs and that the lawsuit had been wrapped up.
