EDF Renewable Nabs Interests In $285M Texas Wind Farm

Law360, New York (July 24, 2013, 6:44 PM EDT) -- A U.S. affiliate of French electricity company EDF Energies Nouvelles has snagged interests in a $285 million Texas wind project as part of its plans to grow its presence in the state, according to a Monday statement.

Per the deal, EDF Renewable Energy Inc. has entered into a membership interest agreement to acquire the first 200-megawatt phase of Lincoln Renewable Energy LLC's Hereford Wind Project and has secured the option to buy the second phase, which could ultimately grow the project into a 500-megawatt wind farm,...
