Chavez Threatens To Cut Off Oil Shipments To U.S.

Law360, New York (February 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said Sunday that he would stop exporting oil to the United States if Exxon Mobil Corp. succeeded in freezing the assets of state-run oil company Petroleos de Venezuela SA.

During his weekly radio and television program, “Alo, Presidente,” Chavez accused Exxon Mobil of conspiring to destabilize his country.
