Pillsbury Escapes Appeal In Real Estate Malpractice Case

Law360, New York (October 4, 2013, 4:32 PM EDT) -- The New Jersey Supreme Court won't second guess summary judgment wins for Pillsbury Winthrop LLP and Maran & Maran PC against a developer who blamed the firms for an earlier malpractice defeat in real estate litigation, according to an order made available Thursday.

The high court denied a petition for certification from Froom Development Corp., which was hoping to upend a 2012 appellate ruling that maintained the toss of its complaint against Pillsbury and Maran.
