No Concession Offers From Nokia, Navteq

Law360, New York (March 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Nokia Corp. and Navteq Corp. reportedly have not offered the European Commission any remedies that could assuage competition concerns regarding their proposed $8.1 billion merger.

In the absence of any concessions, the commission is considering deepening its investigation into Nokia's bid to take over the electronic mapmaker before the March 28 deadline, Dow Jones News reported on Thursday.

A spokesman for the EC could not be immediately reached for comment.
