The report said a legal battle between Toshiba and Western Digital over the fate of their joint venture interests caused the Bain-led consortium to question whether a deal was prudent at this time, and the group only has interest in continuing talks once Toshiba has settled that issue. The saga over Toshiba's memory chip business has been ongoing for months, with reports saying the business could be worth more than $18 billion....
