Arkema Pays $1.4M To Settle DOI's Arsenic Pollution Claims
Chemical manufacturer Arkema Inc. will pay $1.4 million to the U.S. Department of the Interior to settle allegations that its former plant in Bryan, Texas, contaminated groundwater and threatened wildlife through unauthorized disposal of arsenic, according to a consent decree filed Wednesday.
