Panasonic Says New Complaint Could Drag Out Antitrust Suit

Law360 (August 8, 2019, 7:23 PM EDT) -- Panasonic and several other electronics makers fighting antitrust claims from parts buyers are asking a California federal judge to keep the buyers from amending their suit until the court first decides whether to zap the case.

A group described in the lawsuit as direct purchasers of inductors — circuit board parts that conduct and store energy — wants clearance to amend the complaint, which accuses Panasonic along with the other parts makers of plotting to stabilize inductor prices.
