Car Warranty Co. Owner Admits To $71M Fraud

Law360, New York (April 9, 2012, 10:11 PM EDT) -- A former owner of defunct car warranty dealer U.S. Fidelis Inc. pled guilty Monday in Missouri federal court to federal charges stemming from a scheme in which he and his brother allegedly withheld customer refunds and used a substantial amount of $71 million in distributions they received from their company for personal expenses.
