Attys Get Ready To Sprint For Coveted H-2B Worker Visas

Law360, New York (July 18, 2017, 11:04 PM EDT) -- With a rule allowing an extra 15,000 H-2B visas slated to take effect Wednesday, attorneys are gearing up to help clients apply for the coveted visas as soon as possible, which may include submitting extra evidence about the potential harms employers could face.

After Congress gave the green light for additional H-2B visas in a May spending bill, the Trump administration unveiled a new rule on Monday that will allow 15,000 extra H-2B visas, which are used for guest workers in jobs outside of farming.
