Obama Tells 9th Circ. States Can Cut Medicaid Payments

Law360, Los Angeles (February 26, 2013, 6:22 PM EST) -- The Obama administration maintained in a Ninth Circuit brief Friday that states could reduce Medicaid payments to health care providers as long as they meet their obligations to provide care to low-income patients, in a case filed by providers contesting California's Medicaid rate cuts.
